PCR analysis.

Thermoelectric modules (TEC) are widely used in molecular biology for DNA analysis using cyclic heating and cooling of biological fluids (polymerase chain reaction (PCR) method). At the same time, significant thermal and mechanical stresses in TECs place special demands on their reliability and ability to withstand multiple heating and cooling cycles.

  Ice core has its own TEC manufacturing technology for a cycling applications of all sizes including miniature TECs. Ice core thermoelectric modules can easily withstand 500,000 or more heating and cooling cycles.
